Goof Ball FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

I downloaded the free version, why can't I play all the levels?
The free version is an evaluation copy of the game. The levels marked in red aren't available in this version. To unlock those levels, you'll need to register the game. In other words, buy the full version.

I have the free version, what is registration and how does it work?
When you register, you are buying the full version of the game. The free download lets you evaluate a small portion of the game to see if it is something you'd like to buy. To register, go into the register menu in the game, or click here. You will be asked for some information (including payment information), then you will be able to download the upgrade installer (it's about 2 MB). When it's done downloading, run it, and that's it - you'll own the game, have all the levels, and all the functionality.

How much does the full version cost and what do I get with it?
You get the rest of the game - the free version is only a small sample. It'll cost you $11.95. The upgrade comes with over forty custom built levels and about ten hours of unique game play.

I own the full version, why are some of the levels grayed out?
To unlock higher levels, you need to complete the lower ones. The levels are design to be progressively more difficult. You wouldn't want to jump right into the hardest level without first fine tuning your gaming skills on the easier levels. But, if you get really stuck there is a way to cheat (look down a couple of questions for more info).

I see there is a "cheats" menu, but it's disabled - how do I unlock it?
If you don't own the full version, you can't. But if you do, it will automatically unlock when you have completed most of the game levels. But, if you get really stuck (and I don't generally encourage this), there is a way to cheat; keep reading for more info.

I'm really stuck on a level, is there any way to skip it?
Yes. You can download the Goof Ball Cheater application (save it in your Goof Ball install directory). You can also use this program to unlock the "cheats" menu. Note that this program only works on the full version of Goof Ball.
